Lighthouse provides REALife Relationship and Love Training to schools, churches and other student groups in our community at no cost. We want teens and young adults to have the healthiest and most fulfilling relationships possible. We believe that making wise sexual decisions plays a big part in achieving that goal and that a combination of influences and choices start in the pre-teen years! That is why we seek to support parents/guardians, mentors, youth leaders, and educators of all kinds in their efforts to promote sexual integrity in the lives of the students in their world. Our hope is that we can provide some of the support and influences essential to help your students attain the best relationships possible, both now and in the future!

Our medically accurate curriculum was developed by the New Jersey Physicians Advisory Group specifically for New Jersey Schools. Teachers appreciate that the material corresponds to what they are required to teach and covers 94% of their core curriculum content standards in Human Relationship & Sexuality (2.4) and 71% of the entirety 2.1-2.4. It also puts schools in full compliance with NJ’s mandated AIDS Prevention Act. Students love the interactive format of the lessons, which include role playing, games, manipulatives, and interactive CD-ROM and DVD.

REALife Relationship and Love Training is available to North Jersey Middle School and High Schools as well as local youth groups. REALife is especially effective in classroom settings where the program has some relevance to the class material (i.e. a health class). The program is funded by donations, so there is no cost to the school. The schedule can be set up to meet each school’s needs; 5 classes are preferable to receive the full benefits of the program, however 3 or even 1 class has seen notable benefits.
