Life is worth celebrating! A fun but important way to stock our PREP Shoppe with the valuable life support our moms and families need is to host your own Baby Shower! The location can be wherever you choose:  your home, school, church, office, or organization’s location. You can get carried away with baby-themed décor, refreshments, and games – or keep it very simple.

Lighthouse can provide ideas and our own baby photos, ministry videos and a staff member or Lighthouse mom to reinforce the purpose of the event and the significance of their gifts. The shower presents will be items that we provide to expectant or new parents through PREP or in our New Moms’ Baskets that moms receive after giving birth. Our  Parenting Readiness & Enrichment Program (PREP) is available to women and couples who visit us early in their pregnancy. Their commitment to coming for prenatal and parenting education, relationship counsel, or spiritual and emotional support makes them eligible for essential items to care for their child.

Lighthouse maintains several gift registries of typical items needed  and there is also a list here of items we need and accept on our parents’ behalf.
